When we were looking at Project Collaboration Software, nothing came close to BaseCamp for sheer ease-of-use and more importantly ease-of-communication. It's really helped us handle a lot more projects more efficiently.
Our main concern however was scalability. Market One is an Integrated Direct Marketing Agency that might get 20 projects started in one day. So after looking around on the BaseCamp Community Forum, we found Chris Busse from Project Detail Systems, a very talented programmer who created a nice little VBScript Project Import Utility for us. We use it to create milestones, assign roles and responsibilities--with or without email notification--by importing a simple .csv file that's already populated with all the project information. It makes our lives a lot easier.
